Faith Promise Weekend

July 31 - August 1

Scripture is clear in both Testaments that God’s mission is to extend to all the world His offer of salvation.  The Church of the Nazarene is organized into six regions in 164 world areas. Each week, Nazarenes worship in more than 212 languages or tribal languages.

FAITH PROMISE is one method of giving financial support to the work of Nazarene global missions; a systematic offering based on a promise of faith in God to supply the gift.  The last weekend in July is the time we have set aside to focus on world evangelism and for each of us to declare an amount of money that WE BELIEVE GOD CAN SUPPLY through us.

SATURDAY, July 31 – There will be an outdoor picnic beginning at 5pm featuring grilled hamburgers and hot dogs, baked beans, slaw, chips, and homemade ice cream!  At 6pm in the sanctuary, Chad Dickerson, missionary to Peru, will inspire and inform us through the message God has laid on his heart.  He serves as the regional Nazarene Compassionate Coordinator there.

SUNDAY, August 1 – Our morning worship service will follow our Faith Promise theme, and individuals/families will be given the opportunity to step out on faith with a promise to God of financial support for the coming year.
